About the Fair...

The Reading Club’s Annual Fair has become a leading event in the diary of collectors and dealers of cigarette cards and postcards throughout the UK. With 93 dealers quite a number are small dealers who do not attend at the major fairs. So popular is the fair that visitors come from Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Northern, Eastern & Southern England. As well as good rail frequent connections direct to Reading town centre, there is easy road access from the M40 and the M4.

The venue has large car parks, and cafeteria facilities. The Site is level with disabled facilities, and the fair aisles are wide to suit wheelchairs. The Reading Club also holds it’s Annual Competition Display in three classes which those attending the fair are asked to judge with the chance to win 2 x £20 prizes.

Family History enthusiasts will be overwhelmed by the variety and selection of postcards available to meet their needs.
